Pricing

Each project has its own requirements and its own challenges. For this reason we cannot guarantee a particular price. However, we understand the need to compare prices and make cost estimates and will be happy to provide you with estimates.

This page describes our pricing process and will hopefully help you ballpark development costs. Ultimately, you should contact us with information about your project. We would be happy to sign a mutual non-disclosure agreement and help you to gather project requirments.

Pricing Options

A project can be priced either as a fixed amount, hourly as needed or a combination of both.

Fixed Pricing

In most cases we can offer a fixed price for your project. We take the following steps to price a project.

  1. If not already available we first develop a clear and concise but sufficiently detailed project specification.
  2. Given the specification we break down the project into major tasks and make estimates on how long each part will take to implement.
  3. The hourly estimates are totaled and a margin for error is added.
  4. Based on our hourly rate for the particular type of work we come up with a total price.
  5. We will then present a proposed project plan with pricing and scheduling information for your apporval.

Once an agreement is signed we stand by our price. A large part of our success is due to our ability to correctly estimate software development plans.

Hourly Pricing

For some projects it can still be difficult to plan all the details ahead of time in such cases it may make more sense to bill by the hour. When billing by the hour we carefully log our time in 15 minute intervals and submit time-cards with invoices for your review.

Payment

Payment by check, wire transfer or direct deposit are accepted. Once an agreement is made Customers are generally required to pay 30% up front for fixed priced projects or a retainer fee for hourly billing.
